ABOUT

Hi, I am Elif Işık Töreci, an illustrator and painter from Istanbul.
I was born in 1984 in Izmir-Turkey. I'm graduated from Saint-Joseph French High School and then Galatasaray University Computer Engineering.
My passion for painting, which i strengthened with various trainings and exhibitions until my university years, remained in the second place for a long time in line with my university education and then the choice of corporate life.

After choosing to leave corporate life in 2019, i reoriented myself and put art first in my life by becoming a freelance painter and illustrator.

I work with acrylic and acryla gouache; vivid colors, round-illustrative forms, flowers and female figures aiming to convey positivity and life energy.
I create my artworks using the traditional illustration method (hand-drawing, traditional mediums) and then convert my paintings to digital if needed.
